Programming Your Garage Door Opener

Select your vehicle's transmitter from the drop-down options below to learn how to program it.

Car2U

Car2U garage door openers have specific programming instructions depending on whether your garage door system uses a rolling or fixed code system. A rolling code means your system generates a new security code every time the remote control is used to open your garage, whereas a fixed code always uses the same code.

To determine which type of system you have, open the cover of your garage opener located on the back or side of the unit. If you see a circuit board, you have a rolling code system. If you see a series of small switches, you have a fixed code system.
