Description
On your vehicle, one or both front seats may have a loose or dislodged seat frame height-adjust pivot bolt. If the pivot bolt loosens or dislodges from the pivot joint, the seat frame will become unsecured.
Safety Risk
A seat with a dislodged pivot bolt may not properly restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
A remedy is available. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to inspect both front seat frame height-adjust pivot bolts for proper torque. If found to be loose, your dealer will replace the seat frame height-adjust pivot bolts and links free of charge.
