2026 Transit®

The 2026 Transit Van is available in various combinations of roof heights and body lengths. Transit Vans are offered in three roof heights. The Cargo Van is available in three body lengths, while the Passenger Van is available in two lengths. Depending on configuration:

• The height of the Low Roof Transit Van ranges from 82.4" – 82.9"
• The height of the Medium Roof Transit Van ranges from 99.1" – 101.3"
• The height of the High Roof Transit Van ranges from 109.6" – 110.4"

In addition to having three available roof heights, the Transit Van is offered in two wheelbases and three lengths for the Cargo Van, and one wheelbase and two lengths for the Passenger Van. Two available engine choices are available as well as single and dual rear wheel configurations.

• The Cargo Van with 130" wheelbase ranges has a length that ranges from 109.6" – 110.4"
• The Cargo and Passenger Van configurations with the 148" wheelbase have a length that ranges from 235.5" – 237.6"
• Both the Cargo and Passenger Van configurations with the 148" wheelbase are also available in Extended Length of 263.9"

The maximum cargo volume for both Cargo and Passenger Van are found in the High Roof, Extended Length configurations. The Cargo Van has a maximum volume of 487.3 cu ft behind the first row of seats. The Passenger Van has 461.9 cu ft of cargo space behind the first row of seats.

Transit payload capacity varies depending on vehicle configuration. The Maximum Payload on the 2026 Transit Van is 5,103 lbs for the T-350HD High Roof, Extended Length Cargo van with rear wheel drive and dual rear wheel configuration.

Yes. The available Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive system on Transit Vans is designed to help maximize traction and enhance handling. It was integrated into the vehicle’s design to help ensure it didn’t raise the load floor or seat height. Transit vans are also equipped with selectable drive modes that can be chosen for different driving conditions. Depending on the drive mode that you select, the system adjusts various vehicle settings.
