The affected vehicles may not conform to the requirements specified by federal Motor vehicle safety standard fmvss no. 226 ejection mitigation.
Safety Risk
A vehicle that does not comply with fmvss 226 increases the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy
Parts are now available to repair your vehicle. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to install side curtain airbag shields free of charge.
