On your vehicle, it may be possible that the instrument panel cluster ipc may not properly display several vehicle features or display critical safety information correctly. Customers may not be able to disable traction control or change drive modes. The fuel gauge, distance to empty, and fuel economy may not be accurate or operational, including forward collision warnings, auto emergency braking warnings, traction control, roll stability control, seatbelts, and the automatic engine idle shutdown feature may not operate

Safety Risk

This may result in many warnings, telltales, and chimes that may not properly display if a malfunction is present. Several vehicle features may not function or display properly. An ipc that does not clearly display critical safety information can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy

The ipc configuration software is now available to repair your vehicle. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to configure the ipc free of charge.
