On your vehicle, some of the bolts used to attach the vehicle trailer tow hitch may have below-specification torque.
Safety Risk
This condition may affect vehicle handling characteristics or lead to loss of attachment of the trailer hitch while towing, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Parts are now available to repair your vehicle. Ford Motor Company Lincoln has authorized your dealer retailer to inspect and secure or replace the trailer tow hitch bolts as required free of charge.
