On your vehicle, inadequate plastic welds may be present between components of the front passenger knee airbag module.
Safety Risk
If the front passenger knee airbag weld integrity is compromised, it may result in inadequate occupant knee restraint and increase the risk of injury during a crash event that necessitates knee airbag deployment.
Remedy
Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to replace the passenger knee airbag free of charge parts and labor.
