Description
On your vehicle, the instrument cluster may remain blank upon vehicle start-up. The cluster may operate normally if the vehicle is turned off and restarted.
Safety Risk
If the instrument cluster is blank on start-up and the vehicle is driven, information that is normally displayed such as gear selection, vehicle status and warning indicators will not be displayed, increasing the risk of personal injury or a crash.
Remedy
Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to reprogram the instrument panel cluster free of charge (parts and labor).
