Engine oil cooler tube assemblies on vehicles built within the suspect date range may have insufficient crimps that could lead to a hose separation and an oil leak.
Safety Risk
Sudden loss of engine oil may result in engine failure, and in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Parts are now available to repair your vehicle. Please contact your dealer to request a service date. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to replace the engine oil cooler tube assembly free of charge parts and labor.
