Description
In some of the affected vehicles, the windshield wiper Motor may be missing sealer between the gear cover and gear housing allowing water to intrude into the wiper Motor. The missing sealer may cause the windshield wipers to become inoperable.
Safety Risk
Inoperable windshield wipers may cause reduced visibility or loss of visibility in certain conditions, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Parts are now available to repair your vehicle. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace your wiper Motor free of charge.
