Description
On your vehicle, the electric brake booster ebb was built with an incorrect electronic control unit ecu cover. This condition may result in ecu components operating at elevated temperatures and lead to premature ebb failure.
Safety Risk
This condition may result in an unexpected loss of brake power assistance and or vehicle stability control features, increasing the risk of a crash. Braking without power assistance will remain.
Remedy
Parts are available. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to replace the electronic brake booster free of charge.
