If the brake fluid reservoir is depleted below a pre-determined level, you will be alerted that brake system service is required by a combination of the following: an audible chime. If the brake fluid reservoir is depleted through continued vehicle operation, you may experience a change in brake pedal travel and feel, and increased pedal effort. If a loss of brake fluid is substantial, it can reduce brake function in the front wheels. Brake function in the rear wheels is unaffected by this condition.

For vehicles equipped with a trailer tow module, water intrusion into the module and connector could cause wiring corrosion and damage to the module.this may result in rapid flashing of the turn signals, loss of the instrument cluster display, loss of heater and air conditioning controls, and loss of multimedia (radio, screens, SYNC). Wiring corrosion from prolonged water intrusion could also result in an electrical short to ground, which could cause an uncommanded seat belt pretensioner deployment, a burning smell and/or an increased risk of fire, including when the vehicle is parked and the ignition is off.ford is not aware of any reports of accident or injury related to this condition.ford is aware of two reports of vehicle fire on canadian fleet vehicles potentially related to this condition.
Safety Risk
An electrical short to ground in the module can overload the ground wire circuit, increasing the risk of overheated or melted wiring and fire.
Remedy
Parts are available to repair your vehicle. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to add a drainage hole in the drivers footwell and, if necessary, add an inline fuse to the trailer module free of charge parts and labor.

Safety Risk
If an inflator explodes, sharp metal fragments could strike the passenger or other occupants, causing serious injury or death.
Remedy
Do not drive your vehicle until your dealer replaces the front passenger side airbag inflator. Parts are now available to repair your vehicle. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to replace the front passenger side airbag inflator free of charge parts and labor. This is a permanent repair for your vehicle and must be performed even if you had an airbag inflator previously replaced as an interim repair.

A door handle fitted with the Ford accessory chrome exterior door handle cover could unlatch during a side impact, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy
Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to inspect your vehicle and remove and discard the affected Ford accessory chrome exterior door handle trim covers, if required, free of charge. Dealers are also authorized to refund vehicle owners for the purchase price or msrp of the Ford accessory exterior chrome door handle trim cover kit once the covers have been discarded.
