Description
Your vehicle may be equipped with steering tie-rod ends that may fracture, resulting in front axle steering disconnection.
Safety Risk
If your vehicle experiences a tie-rod end fracture, the passenger side wheel will become disconnected from the steering system leading to degraded steering precision, which could increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Parts are now available to repair your vehicle. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to inspect the tie-rods and replace the assembly if needed free of charge parts and labor.
