Description
On certain cab chassis vehicles equipped with accuride aluminum wheels, the wheels were not properly pre-stressed. This allows cracks to develop over time.
Safety Risk
This may eventually lead to wheel failure and possibly result in a vehicle crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the wheels free of charge. The recall began on may 17, 2005. Owners may contact Ford at 1-866-436-7332.
