On your vehicle, the front brake line may leak. If the brake fluid reservoir is depleted below a predetermined level, you will be alerted that brake system service is required by a combination of the following - an audible chime - a full screen message center alert - illumination of the red brake warning indicator shown to the left. If the brake fluid reservoir is depleted through continued vehicle operation, you may experience an increase in brake pedal travel and a reduction in the rate of deceleration.
