Description
On your vehicle, the supplemental owners guide does not include an accurate description of all head restraints and instructions for adjusting or removing certain center head restraints
Safety Risk
Customers do not have access to an accurate description of all head restraints and instructions for adjusting or removing certain center head restraints. Inability to access this information increases the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
Remedy
Ford Motor Company has provided an addendum, with the owner notification letter, that includes an accurate description of all head restraints and describes how to adjust and remove the head restraints for certain center seating positions. Please place the head restraint owners manual addendum provided with this letter in your vehicles glovebox with the supplemental owners guide. You do not need to visit your dealer, but you have the option to take your vehicle to a Ford or Lincoln dealer for assistance with properly installing the mailed owners manual addendum into your vehicles glovebox, free of charge parts and labor.
