Description
Start-stop accumulator replacement
Safety Risk
Missing or loose bolts on the start stop accumulator endcap could result in a transmission oil leak and may progress to a loss of transmission function. A transmission oil leak in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of fire.
Remedy
Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to remove and replace the start-stop accumulator and check the transmission fluid level free of charge parts and labor.
