How do I use the Mustang Mach-E frunk?

The frunk is located under the hood, where an engine would typically be. Discover ways to use your frunk using the information below.

Opening and Closing the Frunk

To open the frunk, you can:

  • Double-pull the hood latch inside the footwell.

  • Press the soft button on the center-stack SYNC®* touchscreen**.

  • Use the SecuriCode Keyless entry keypad by pressing 7/8 after entering your code.

  • Additionally, 2025 model year Mustang Mach-E vehicles can be opened using a button on your key fob.
