No. To become Ford Blue Advantage Gold Certified, a Ford vehicle has to be less than six years old and have fewer than 80,000 miles on the odometer. It then has to pass a rigorous 172-point inspection. A CARFAX® Vehicle History Report is also run to identify any vehicle that does not meet our strict standards.

To become Ford Blue Advantage EV Certified, a fully electric Ford vehicle has to be less than six years old and have fewer than 80,000 miles on the odometer. It then has to pass a rigorous 127-point inspection. A CARFAX Vehicle History Report is also run to identify any vehicle that does not meet our strict standards.

To become Ford Blue Advantage Blue Certified, a vehicle has to be less than ten years old and have fewer than 150,000 miles on the odometer. It then has to pass a rigorous 139-point inspection. A CARFAX Vehicle History Report is also run to identify any vehicle that does not meet our strict standards.

Ford factory-trained dealer technicians go through each vehicle, performing a rigorous 172-, 127- or 139-point inspection, including obtaining a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report. Any part(s) that doesn’t meet our standards is replaced with a factory-authorized part. No. Only a Ford Motor Company-franchised Dealer can sell Ford Blue Advantage vehicles that were inspected and approved by Ford Motor Company standards.

The Money Back Guarantee is only available at participating Ford Dealers. Vehicle must be returned within 14 days/1,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the original sales date and mileage as stated on bill of sale and returned in same condition as sold (excludes normal wear and tear).
