What SYNC version do I have?

Select a resource in the table below to help you identify your vehicle's SYNC generation.

1. Tap Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen. If you see a Home icon instead of Settings, select the Home icon.
2. Select General.
3. Tap About SYNC to see your current software version.

1. Press Settings (gear icon).
2. Select Help.
3. Tap System Information.
4. Look for the number after CCPU S/W Version.
5. Use the table below to match the CCPU number with the SYNC software version.

1. Select the Phone button.
2. Tap the down arrow until you see Return, then press OK.
3. Press the down arrow until you see Advanced, then press OK.
4. Tap the down arrow until you see System Info, then press OK.
5. Press the down arrow until you see FPN, then press OK.
6. Use the table below to match the FPN with the SYNC software version.

1. Tap the Phone button.
2. Press Settings. You may have to do this twice depending on if a phone is connected or not.
3. Select Advanced.
4. Tap the down arrow twice.
5. Press System Information.
6. Use the table below to match the FPN with your SYNC software version.

1. Tap the Menu button.
2. Scroll to SYNC Settings, then press OK.
3. Scroll to System Info, then select OK.
4. Scroll to FPN.
5. Use the table below to match the FPN with your SYNC software version.
