How do I set the clock with SYNC?

Select a resource in the table below to help you identify your vehicle's SYNC generation.

To set the time:

1. Choose either the Home or Settings icon on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
2. Select Clock.
3. Use the arrows to adjust the time.

To adjust automatic time change settings:

1. Choose either the Home or Settings icon on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
2. Select Clock Settings.
3. Toggle the Automatic Time Zone Update slider to your preference. 

To set the time:

1. Select Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
2. Choose Clock Settings.
3. Use the arrows to adjust the time.

To adjust automatic time change settings:

1. Select Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
2. Choose Clock Settings.
3. Toggle the Automatic Time Zone Update slider to your preference.

2. Choose Clock.
   • Select the plus (+) or minus (-) signs to adjust the time.
   • Choose AM or PM.
   • Select to view the clock time in a 12-hour or 24-hour mode.
   • Turn on Automatic Time Zone Update for navigation-equipped vehicles.
   • Set the clock to GPS time for navigation-equipped vehicles.

1. Choose the clock display on your SYNC screen.
2. Select the plus (+) or minus (-) signs to adjust the time.
3. Choose AM or PM.
4. Use the up and down arrows to set your preferences.
   • Set the clock display's date or time.
   • Reset the clock to GPS time for vehicles equipped with navigation.
   • Display outside temperature.
   • Switch Automatic Time Zone Update on or off.
   • Select 12-hour or 24-hour format.

1. Select the Clock on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
2. Use the center arrow controls to move between options and set time.

Depending on the system, some options may appear slightly different. If the above steps do not work:

1. Select Menu on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
2. Scroll through your menu options using the up and down arrows.
3. Enter the menu by using the right arrow and exit the menu by using the left arrow.
4. Choose OK to confirm.
5. Scroll to Clock settings in the menu.
   • Set Time: Select to set the time.
   • Set Date: Select to set the calendar date.
   • 24h Mode: Select to view the clock time in a 12-hour or 24-hour mode.
