How do I change my SYNC Navigation from kilometers to miles?

You can modify the distance units (e.g., change kilometers to miles) using the Settings menu in your SYNC®* system.

Setting Units of Measurements with SYNC

Important: Your vehicle must be parked, running, and in an open, well-ventilated, and safe area.

Select your SYNC generation from the drop-down options below to learn how to modify your SYNC Navigation units of measurement. If you need assistance determining the generation of your SYNC system, select the first drop-down option.

  1. Tap the Settings or Home icon on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Select General.
  3. Choose your preferred measurement units.

  4. Choose your preferred measurement units.

  1. Press Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Choose your preferred distance units (Miles or Kilometers).

  1. Press Menu (gear icon) on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Press System.
  4. Choose your preferred distance units (KM or MI).
