What should I do if I receive a pairing failed message for Phone As A Key?

If you attempt to pair Phone As A Key™* with your mobile device and receive a Pairing Failed message, troubleshoot using the steps below.

  1. Start your vehicle in an open, well-ventilated, and safe area. 
  2. Toggle your mobile device's Bluetooth off/on and attempt to set up Phone As A Key again. 

    Note: If your issue is resolved, do not continue with the remaining steps. 
     
  3. Delete any keys installed on your phone attempting to pair and attempt to set up Phone As A Key again.

    Note: If your issue is resolved, do not continue with the remaining steps. 
     
  4. Perform a Phone As A Key reset and attempt to set up Phone As A Key again.
