How do I use the Horn and Lights feature in FordPass®*?

This Horn and Light feature allows you to activate the lights and horns for five seconds, which is very useful when searching for your vehicle in a parking garage. When the button is pressed, your vehicle repeatedly sounds the horn and flashes your indicator (hazard) lights.

Note: This is not a standard feature and the following pre-conditions must be met before use:

To Use the Horn and Lights Feature:

  1. Navigate to the Home landing page.
  2. Locate your remote commands bar.
  3. Press and hold the Horn icon for five seconds.
  4. A pop-up message will appear.
    • Select Confirm to complete the action.
    • Select Cancel to void the action.
  5. If you select Confirm, the success banner should appear.
  6. The lights and horns will be active for five seconds.

Note: For Mustang Mach-E vehicles, the Horn and Lights feature was recently updated to include the following:

  • Command access when within Bluetooth®**** range.
  • Command access when outside of Bluetooth range.
  • Command access when Phone As A Key has not been set up.

*The FordPass App, compatible with select smartphone platforms, is available through a free download. Message and data rates may apply.

**Don’t drive while distracted. Use voice-operated systems when possible; don’t use handheld devices while driving. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear. Not all features are compatible with all phones.
