How do I activate my Connected Services Complimentary plan or renew my Connected Services plan?
Prerequisites
You must have:
- The FordPass® App downloaded on your 4G mobile device.
- An eligible vehicle added to your FordPass App garage.
- The modem of the eligible vehicle activated.
Trial Activation or Plan Renewal
You can activate your complimentary trial or renew your Connected Services plan through Ford.com/connectedservices or within the FordPass App. The steps below will assist you with activation or renewal based on your preferred method.
How do I activate my complimentary trial or renew my Connected Services plan in the FordPass App?
- Log in to the FordPass App.
- Press Account.
- Tap Connected Services.
- Select the eligible vehicle from your Garage to see the available Connected Services.
- Tap Activate Trial or View Product Details depending on if you are activating a complimentary trial or renewing your Connected Services.
- Swipe to the bottom of the webpage after reading all the information and press Next.
Note: You will be prompted to enter a Primary Address if you have not done so. Enter all the requested details and click Save. - Select a payment method in the Payment Information field.
Note: If you do not have a payment method on file or want to add a new one, click Add Card and enter the details, then click Save. You can set this as the default payment method by clicking the checkbox. - Review the order or trial activation, and read and agree to the Terms and Conditions by tapping the checkboxes.
- Click Confirm Activation. You will see an "Order Confirmation" popup window.
- Click Got it, thanks! to complete your activation.
How do I activate my complimentary trial or renew my Connected Services plan on Ford.com?
- Log in to your account at Ford.com/connectedservices/.
- Click Activate or View Product Details.
Note: The selection available is based on what Connected Services, if any, are available at the time of sign up. - Click Next.
- Swipe to the bottom of the webpage after reading all the information and click Next.
Note: If you have not entered a Primary Address on your Ford account, you will be prompted to. - Review your order and click the “i” icon to view more details of the plan chosen.
- Ensure your payment information is correct.
Note: If you do not have a payment method on file or want to add a new one, click Add Card and enter the details of the new payment method, then click Save. You can set this as the default payment method by clicking the checkbox. - Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions by clicking the checkbox.
- Click Confirm Activation. You will see an "Order Confirmation" popup window.
- Click Got it, thanks! to complete your activation.
