What is the Eversource Managed Charging Program for Ford owners?

Ford and Eversource share the following information:

Personal Information

• Name
• Email
• Mobile phone number
• Home address
• Utility account number
• Utility account holder name (if provided) 

Vehicle Information

• Vehicle make and model
• Battery size
• In-vehicle charger capacity

Per Session Charging Data

• Plug-in/unplug date and time
• Charge start/end date and time
• Scheduled charge start date and time
• Energy consumed per charge session
• Starting/ending state-of-charge
• Charge schedule/demand response event override date and time
• Charging rate during the charge session

Aggregated Charging Data 

• Total number of charging hours per month
• Percentage of charging hours during off-peak hours per month
• Energy consumed per month

For Connecticut customers:

Off-peak hours are 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. the next day during weekdays.

For Massachusetts customers:

Off-peak hours are 9:00 p.m to 1:00 p.m. the next day.

To be eligible, you must

• Be an Eversource residential electric customer in Connecticut or Massachusetts.
• Own or lease a Ford plug-in hybrid or all-electric vehicle model year 2021 or later with an activated modem.

• Eversource is providing a $100 incentive upon enrollment in the program.
  
  Important: The $100 enrollment incentive is available to new customers who have not previously enrolled in an Eversource Managed Charging program.
   
• Participants who enroll in the Off-Peak Rewards tier can earn up to an additional $120 per year.
• Participants who enroll in the Scheduled Charging tier can earn up to an additional $300 per year.

• Eversource is providing a $50 incentive upon enrollment in the program.
  
  Important: Recipients of an Eversource electric vehicle (EV) charger and/or wiring rebate who participate in Managed Charging are not eligible for the enrollment incentive.
   
• Participants who enroll in either Off-Peak Rewards or Scheduled Charging can earn up to an additional $120 per year.

Important: 

• Off-Peak Rewards tier customers:
  • Must complete at least one 15-minute charging session at their enrolled home location per month.
  • Must complete 90% of electric vehicle (EV) charging during off-peak hours to be eligible to receive the additional $10 per month.
• Scheduled Charging tier customers:
  • Must complete at least two 15-minute charging sessions at their enrolled home location per month.
  • Must not override managed charging during on-peak times more than two times per month to be eligible to receive the additional $10 per month.
