What is the Eversource Managed Charging Program for Ford owners?
Ford is partnering with Eversource in Connecticut (CT) and Massachusetts (MA) to provide electric Ford owners with incentives for charging during off-peak hours at home. Customers can participate by either scheduling their own charging during off-peak hours or allowing Ford to schedule charging for off-peak hours automatically.
Note: The Eversource Managed Charging program in Massachusetts will launch in late April 2026.

When are off-peak hours?
For Connecticut customers:
Off-peak hours are 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. the next day during weekdays.
For Massachusetts customers:
Off-peak hours are 9:00 p.m to 1:00 p.m. the next day.
What are the eligibility requirements for the Managed Charging Program?
To be eligible, you must
- Be an Eversource residential electric customer in Connecticut or Massachusetts.
- Own or lease a Ford plug-in hybrid or all-electric vehicle model year 2021 or later with an activated modem.
What incentives does Eversource Energy in CT offer?
- Eversource is providing a $100 incentive upon enrollment in the program.
Important: The $100 enrollment incentive is available to new customers who have not previously enrolled in an Eversource Managed Charging program.
- Participants who enroll in the Off-Peak Rewards tier can earn up to an additional $120 per year.
- Participants who enroll in the Scheduled Charging tier can earn up to an additional $300 per year.

What incentives does Eversource Energy in MA offer?
- Eversource is providing a $50 incentive upon enrollment in the program.
Important: Recipients of an Eversource electric vehicle (EV) charger and/or wiring rebate who participate in Managed Charging are not eligible for the enrollment incentive.
- Participants who enroll in either Off-Peak Rewards or Scheduled Charging can earn up to an additional $120 per year.

Important:
- Off-Peak Rewards tier customers:
- Must complete at least one 15-minute charging session at their enrolled home location per month.
- Must complete 90% of electric vehicle (EV) charging during off-peak hours to be eligible to receive the additional $10 per month.
- Scheduled Charging tier customers:
- Must complete at least two 15-minute charging sessions at their enrolled home location per month.
- Must not override managed charging during on-peak times more than two times per month to be eligible to receive the additional $10 per month.
