How do I know which version of BlueCruise is available for my vehicle?

The following chart summarizes which version of BlueCruise* is available based on the vehicle model, year, and trim, including which version shipped with the vehicle and whether an update is available. Vehicles eligible for newer versions of BlueCruise will receive those via over-the-air (OTA) software updates** on a rolling basis. Software updates are delivered at the discretion of Ford.

Notes: 

  • To make sure you can receive the latest software updates, enable Automatic Updates and set a recurring schedule for a time that your vehicle is typically parked (like overnight). For more details, including which software version you have currently, refer to our software updates page.
  • You can verify your vehicle’s Ford BlueCruise availability and status on your Ford Account under the Connected Services tile. If your vehicle has Ford BlueCruise capabilities, it will appear here and include your status, as well as the date your subscription or trial began.

Model-year 2021 vehicles with the BlueCruise Prep Package known as Ford Co-Pilot360® Active 2.0 did not ship from the factory with BlueCruise software activated; they receive the software update separately.
