How do I change the charge rate of my Ford charge station?

You can manually reduce the charge rate of your Ford charge station using the Ford app. This allows you to reduce your electric vehicle's (EV) cooling fan operation and volume. Reducing your charge rate also impacts how long your vehicle takes to reach your desired charge level.

Adjusting the Charging Rate

1. Open the Ford app.
2. Tap on Energy.
3. Select Charge Station.
4. Tap Settings.
5. Move the slider under Max Charge Current to increase or decrease your charge station's charge rate.
