Full Itinerary
7:30 AM
Meet the Ford Off-Road team, (last year we did this at a local Ford Dealership) undergo a quick vehicle and equipment review checklist. Team guides will host a short session outlining the program flow, safety protocol, and upcoming activities, and answer any questions guests may have.
8:30 AM
Depart and drive a quick 25 minute west on I-80 before leaving the highway to begin the day's adventure, where attendees will hit the dirt and make scenic stops dictated by the interests and timing of the group. The day’s excursions will see the group led to a variety of stops and experiences along the way, including Antelope Springs, Rabbit Hole Springs, and the world-famous Black Rock Desert (home of the annual Burning Man festival). Throughout the day, the guides will take opportunities to highlight the features of the Ford vehicles at appropriate obstacles, scenic outlooks, and as participants encounter challenges and questions. Lunch will be held along the route giving participants time to talk to guides about their vehicle experiences and share their learnings and tips with their fellow Ford Owners.
4:00 PM
Bronco Owners will arrive at Black Rock Springs, the overnight destination and begin to set up camp. Our team will be on-hand to assist as needed, however participants will be encouraged to take ownership of their equipment and setup, while encouraged to trade tips and help the group. After camp set up is complete, everyone can enjoy the natural hot springs nearby for an overlanding ‘spa’ experience.
6:30 PM
Participants will get their first taste of overlanding as they gather for dinner as a group and get to know their fellow Ford Owners. After dinner everyone will enjoy an evening around the campfire complete with s’mores.

Sunrise to 7:00 AM
Guests awake to the scent of fresh coffee while the team presents a safety briefing and vehicle recovery demonstration, which will then be followed by a radio/communication check and review of the day's route and destination information.
7:00 AM
Time to break down camp and get everything loaded into their vehicles and prepare to hit the trail.
9:00 AM
Depart camp for another full day of activities and off-roading. The day will include more advanced experiences now that everyone has some experience and an increased confidence with their Ford vehicles and its capabilities. Stewardship will be the focus of the day, with examples of responsible off-roading highlighted throughout the route and during activities. Lunch will again be held on the trail, offering an opportunity for continued sharing of ideas and experiences between owners and guides. Depart camp to continue across the Nevada Outback, on a route where history comes alive in places like Double Hot Springs, Hardin City, and Murder Rock. We will eventually make camp at Soldier Meadows, where again there will be an opportunity to dip into natural hot springs right at camp.
6:00 PM
The group will be led in a review of the day's experiences, and have an opportunity to discuss any questions about the ground they traversed, as well as review the flow of the next day’s program. After dinner, guests can enjoy the nearby hot springs, remain around the campfire for s’mores and to hear stories from their guides and fellow overlanders, or head to bed in preparation for another full day of adventure.

Sunrise to 7:00 AM
Breakfast will be available as everyone begins to emerge from their tents, and a brief touch base will be done by the experts reviewing safety, confirming radios and communication are still operational, and a review of the day's program.
7:00 AM
Camp break-down, repack and prepare for the trail.
8:00 AM
Our third day of travel takes us through the stunning Fly and High Rock Canyons as we continue along the route thousands of settlers took so long ago. Photography opportunities abound, and you’ll be able to fill your pockets with obsidian too! We will reach the town of Gerlach this afternoon, where you will have the choice to start your travels home, or remain with the group for another night of camping in Smoke Creek Canyon.
5:00 PM
Ford Owners will roll into their final camping location to prepare camp for the last night on the trail. By now, participants will be well-versed in the setup of their equipment and with their vehicles.
6:00 PM
A farewell dinner will be held to celebrate the near completion of the Ford Owners’ first overlanding experience. Guides will thank the group for the experience of the last few days and highlight each participant by noting their specific contributions to the group, challenges overcome, and learnings obtained throughout the program. A last night of s’mores will be hosted around the campfire, and a brief overview of the next day’s program will be given.

Sunrise to 8:00 AM
The last morning of coffee and breakfast outdoors as the now-expert overlanders prepare to break down camp for a final time. We will enjoy our final morning together beneath a grove of Cottonwood Trees. It is a leisurely day as we drive around the beautiful Pyramid Lake on the way back to Reno, where our adventure will come to a close.
8:00 AM
Camp break-down and load-up their vehicle in preparation for the trail.
9:00 AM
Final group meeting and debrief, where participants will have an opportunity to share their experience, learnings, and ask additional questions of the Ford team to ensure they are fully prepared and excited to tackle overlanding on their own in the future.
10:00 AM
Depart camp for the final portion of the trail.
