How do I turn Live Traffic on and off with SYNC?

You can turn Live Traffic on or off in your SYNC®* settings menu. Live Traffic is a Connected Navigation** (3 Years of Service or 90-day Trial) service for eligible vehicles that provides routes to destinations using real-time traffic information. 

Changing Live Traffic Settings

Select your SYNC generation from the drop-down options below to learn how to enable or disable the Live Traffic feature. If you need assistance identifying your SYNC generation, refer to the SYNC Visual Reference Guide.

SYNC 4A

  1. Tap the Settings or Home icon on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Press Nav.
  3. Select the Wrench/Screwdriver icon.
  4. Choose Settings.
  5. Tap Traffic.
  6. Press the Traffic on Map tile.
  7. Choose Traffic On or Traffic Off.

How do I renew my SYNC Connected Navigation plan?
