How do I turn on my Ford vehicle's Wi-Fi Hotspot*?

Turning on your FordPass®** Wi-Fi connection requires an account in FordPass and a data plan set up with AT&T.

Turn On Wi-Fi Using FordPass 

  1. Open the FordPass App. 
  2. Navigate to the Vehicle screen. 
  3. Tap the Features and Settings header.
  4. Select the Wi-Fi Hotspot tile.
  5. Tap Wi-Fi Settings
  6. Toggle the switch to the right for On. 

Turn On Wi-Fi Using SYNC®*** 

  1. Access your vehicle. 
  2. Ensure your vehicle is on, running, in park, and in a well-ventilated area. 
  3. Tap the Vehicle image.
  4. Select Vehicle Hotspot.
  5. Toggle the slider to the right for On.
