What should I do when selling my Ford?

There are a few actions you should take before and after selling your vehicle.

Before Selling Your Vehicle

Before transferring ownership, you should:

• Perform a master/factory reset for your SYNC^®* system.
• Remove your vehicle from the Ford app.

After Selling Your Vehicle

After transferring ownership, you should:

• Take all necessary steps to notify your Department of Motor Vehicles, lender, and any other entities as required by federal and state laws in the sale and transfer of a vehicle.
• Contact the Ford Customer Relationship Center using our Live Chat option or by calling 1-800-392-3673 if you would like the vehicle removed from your profile.
