2025 Ford Expedition® SUV Lighting Settings

The 2025 Expedition® SUV brings new exterior and interior lighting to your night adventures and a new center display experience for controlling lighting through the lighting menu.

Exterior Lighting to See and Be Seen

Every time you start your vehicle, your default setting is Autolamps on. You can change your headlight settings and control daytime running lamps by going to the Lighting menu on your center display.

  1. From the center display menu, select the Vehicle icon vehicle icon.
  2. Choose Lighting.

From your Lighting menu, pick Exterior. You’ll have the option to set your headlamps, parking lamps, or the autolamps setting. Vehicles with configurable daytime running lamps can also be turned on and off from the Lighting menu.

To turn on grille-mounted off-road lights on the Expedition Tremor® SUV:

  1. From the center display menu, select the Vehicle icon vehicle icon.
  2. Choose Lighting.
  3. Set Exterior Lighting to Headlamps or Autolamps.
  4. Select Off-Road.

Set the Mood With Ambient Lighting

Interior lights will switch on by opening any door, turning them on with your key fob, and by turning on the all-lamps button on your overhead console. Individual lights can be controlled by individual switches.

To set available Ambient Lighting inside the Expedition SUV:

  1. From the center display menu, select the Vehicle icon vehicle icon.
  2. Choose Lighting.
  3. Select Ambient Lighting.
  4. Pick a color.
  5. Drag the slider to adjust brightness.
  6. Select the Power Button to turn Ambient Lighting off.

Light up Your Zone

Add more light to all your nighttime extracurriculars. Available 360-degree Zone Lighting gives you four independent zones to pick from independently or to use all together.

To use Zone Lighting:

  1. From the center display menu, select the Vehicle icon vehicle icon.
  2. Choose Lighting.
  3. Select Zone.

On the center display, you can then select Power to turn zones on or off by selecting which you would like to use.
