What’s Included in This Software Update*

This software update allows you to improve the performance of your Mustang Mach-E GT model with a one-time purchase. You can do so through the FordPass app** or by logging in to your account on the Ford Support website and going to the Connected Services tile.

The performance improvements you can expect:

  • Added 100 lb-ft of torque — now 700 lb-ft of torque† total — giving you even more of the pinned-to-the-back-of-your-seat feeling.
  • Get to 60 MPH in just 3.3 seconds.†† That’s 1.6 seconds faster than the Porsche Macan 4 and 0.2 seconds faster than the Tesla Model Y.
  • A blistering 114 MPH quarter-mile speed — unbridling your electric pony’s performance.‡

What This Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Upgrade Does to Your Vehicle

In short, it makes your Mustang Mach-E quicker and faster.

Here’s how: It combines innovative powertrain thermal modeling and control algorithms to sustain power longer, and our new in-house eMotor helps to deliver increased torque for performance improvement both off the line and down the road.

How to Confirm Your Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Upgrade Has Been Enabled

Once you’ve purchased the Performance Upgrade, you will see a “Performance Upgrade Enabled” banner on the Settings > Controls tab on your in-vehicle touchscreen.

How Soon After Purchase Will My Vehicle Receive the Performance Upgrade?

The upgrade is sent to your vehicle over the air once you’ve made your purchase — no dealership or rolling up your sleeves required.
