What is Collision Warning with Brake Support on my Ford?
Collision Warning with Brake Support warns you if there is a risk of a collision with a red light-emitting diode (LED) heads-up display on the windshield and audible warning tone, which also mutes the audio system.

Warning System Sensitivity
You can change the sensitivity on the warning system to one of three settings, by using the five-way control on your steering wheel:*
- Scroll to Driver Assist > Collision Warning > Sensitivity
- Select either High, Normal, or Low
The most sensitive setting will detect stationary objects near your vehicle, while a lower setting may lead to fewer and later warnings.
*If collision warnings are perceived as being too frequent or disturbing then the warning sensitivity can be reduced, though the manufacturer recommends using the highest sensitivity setting where possible. Setting lower sensitivity would lead to fewer and later system warnings.
To find out if a vehicle has Collision Warning with Brake Support available, download an order guide:
- Visit the Ford media website.
- Select the Vehicles tab and choose a vehicle.
- Select Order Guide.
Tip: To search the order guide, press CTRL + F to open a search box in your browser. You can then enter any term, such as Collision Warning, to search the guide.
If you are the current owner, check your window sticker for availability.
*Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment, and need to control the vehicle. They do not replace safe driving. See your Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.
