What information does Ford share with PSEG Long Island?
Ford shares the following information with PSEG Long Island and EnergyHub, the program administrator:
Personal Information
- Name
- Mobile phone number
- Home address
- Utility account number
- Utility account holder name (if provided)
Vehicle Information
- Vehicle make/model
- Battery size
- In-vehicle charger capacity
Charging Data per Charge Session
- Plug-in/plug-out date and time
- Charge start/end date and time
- Scheduled charge start date and time
- Energy consumed per charge session
- Starting/ending state-of-charge
- Demand response event override date and time
- Charging rate during the charge session
What is required to participate in the program?
To participate, you must:
- Own or lease a 2021 model year or later Ford plug-in vehicle with an activated modem in FordPass®*.
- Be a residential electricity customer of PSEG Long Island.
Important: You cannot currently be enrolled in the System Peak Relief program with another aggregator company.
What participation incentive will Ford electric vehicle owners receive?
After enrollment confirmation, you will receive $50 within 6 weeks and an email from support@evchargingrewards.com with instructions on how to receive the incentive payments.
Participation in an event is defined as having allowed Ford to pause charging of your vehicle at your residence for all or part of the grid event duration without overriding the event.
Notes:
- The limit is one PSEG Long Island System Peak Relief Program incentive per household.
- Incentives are paid via PayPal or Venmo by ChargeScape on behalf of PSEG Long Island.
When might grid events start?
Grid events will occur between May 1 and September 30. The program will only modify your vehicle’s charging on weekdays, excluding federal holidays within that time period.
Grid events will typically last 4 hours.
How do I unenroll?
If you want to unenroll in the program, you can do so on your Ford Energy Rewards account dashboard.
