What is a target charge for my electric vehicle?

Take the following steps.

1. Open the Ford app and select Energy.
2. Choose Target charge locations.
3. Select one of the following:
   • Create target charge location if this is your first target charge.
   • Add if you have already created a target charge.
4. Enter a name for the location.
   
   Note: The location name should be unique to make it easier to identify if you need to make changes later.
    
5. Pick Select location.
6. Choose an address from the list of your previously used AC chargers, and go back to the Add target charge location screen.
7. Move the slider icon to set your target charge level. The charge level is measured in percentages.
8. Tap Save.

Your location-based target charge is now saved. 

Take the following steps.

1. Choose the home or app icon, depending on your version of SYNC^®**.
2. Select Charging.
3. Choose the pencil icon next to Charging Locations.
4. Select + Add New Location or select any of the locations you have set up already.
5. Choose the pencil icon next to the Charging Location.
6. Move the Max Charge Level slider to set your target charge.
7. Pick Next.
8. Select Next again to save your edits.

Take the following steps.

1. Select Charging/Charge Settings, depending on your version of SYNC^**.
2. Choose the pencil icon next to a charge location.
3. Adjust the Max Charge Level and select Next.
4. Select Next again to save your edits.
