Ratings and reviews are provided by customers who have either purchased a vehicle or visited a dealership for service.
How are ratings and reviews collected?
Customers are invited to participate in a survey administered by MaritzCX, an independent, third-party supplier.
Can dealerships edit or remove reviews?
No. Ford personnel and/or dealership personnel cannot modify or remove reviews.
Are reviews modified or monitored before being published?
MaritzCX moderates public reviews to ensure they contain content that meet Review guidelines, such as:
‣No Profanity or inappropriate defamatory remarks
‣Fraud
‣No Personal Identifying information (e.g., customer phone number or email)
‣No Competitor references (e.g., another brand or dealership)
‣Dangerous behavior (e.g. threatening to harm employees or others)
‣Lack of adequate text (e.g., symbols, emoji’s and random letters)

On your vehicle, the engine block heater may develop a coolant leak which could cause a short circuit while the engine block heater system is plugged in.
Safety Risk
A short circuit in the engine block heater increases the risk of an underhood fire. To reduce the risk of an underhood fire, refrain from plugging in your engine block heater system until remedy parts are available and repair is completed.
Remedy
Ford has authorized your dealer to perform one of the two following remedies parts are not available. Ford Motor Company is working to provide parts for this repair. When the remedy becomes available, Ford Motor Company will notify you via mail to schedule a service appointment with your dealer for repairs to be completed free of charge. The remedy is anticipated to be available by the second quarter of 2026. An alternative remedy is also available for owners who would like to disable the vehicles block heater. For those customers that choose this option, Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to remove the block heater element and power cable and install a threaded plug free of charge.

If the bcm and pcm calibrations are unable to detect a sudden battery degradation during a drive, the vehicle may be unable to restart or may experience a stall while coming to a stop.
