Brake pedal bracket fracture
Safety Risk
During a sudden stop the driver may experience a loss of primary braking capability, increasing the risk of an accident.
Remedy
Letters will be sent to the dealer principals of the dealerships that ordered the suspect parts for which there is no traceability. Dealerships will be instructed to contact customers that received over the counter parts, and provide replacement.
