Description
Some of the affected vehicles may contain brake calipers that may have been incorrectly machined and could result in a leak between the piston and piston bore.
Safety Risk
The leak can result in the loss of braking performance in one of the two brake system hydraulic circuits. If this leak occurs, the operator would experience longer brake pedal travel and increased stopping distances, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect the brake calipers and replace those with affected build date codes. There will be no charge to owners for this service.
