How do I use Phone As A Key™* with FordPass®**?
Important: This is not a standard feature for all vehicles. To use Phone As A Key you must:
- Have FordPass downloaded to your device.
- Have an active FordPass account and be logged in.
- Have a properly equipped vehicle added to FordPass.
- Have either facial recognition, fingerprint recognition, or a passcode set up on your mobile device.
- Enable your Customer Connectivity Settings (CCS).
- Authorize your embedded modem.
- Enable your phone's Bluetooth®***.
- Have a device with Bluetooth version 4.2+.
- Supported mobile device running Android™**** 8.0+ or iOS®*****13.0+.
After logging in to the FordPass App:
- Navigate to the Home landing screen.
- Under the Remote Command keys you will find the following Phone As A Key controls:
- Windows Up******
- Windows Down******
- Horn & Lights
- Frunk
- Trunk*******
- To begin a request to your vehicle, press, hold, and release on the respective key.
