How do I set up Remote Climate Controls in the FordPass®* App?
To use Climate Controls with FordPass, you must:
- Have an active FordPass account.
- Have an activated 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning added to FordPass.
- Open the FordPass App.
- Navigate to the Home tab.
- Scroll down to the Phone As A Key** command section.
- Select Climate Control.
- Select and/or edit five different climate options.
- The first option is Default Climate Settings, which refers to your current in-vehicle settings.
- The next four options are customizable options. You can manage these based on your desired settings and temperature.
- Choose your desired climate option and tap Save Selection.
- A success banner will display once set up is done.
- The setting will be applied once remote start is used to start your vehicle.
Notes:
- You may change the selection as often as you desire i.e. select the warm-up settings during the entire winter session or change the selection on a weekly basis. The last saved selection remains as the default climate setting.
- Remote Climate Control settings will only work when you start your vehicle through cellular remote start or Phone as a Key remote start, Scheduled Remote Start, or off plug conditioning (Battery Electric Vehicles).
- Remote Climate Control settings will not work when you use your key fob to remotely start your vehicle.
