I have moved and need to register my vehicle in a different state. What do I do?

To register your vehicle in another state, you must request documents from Ford Credit and provide them to your new state’s Department of Motor Vehicles. The process and required documents may vary depending on the state. 

If you sign in to Account Manager, you can find the steps to complete the out-of-state registration process.

• Select the Account Services Tab
• Complete the Steps 1 through 4

Another option is to take the current out-of-state registration to the county clerk to initiate the title transfer. The county clerk will send Ford Credit a request for the physical title or a copy of the title. State processes are subject to change without notification. Additionally, certain situations will cause a state to request additional documentation. Please contact the appropriate agency from the state you’ll be transferring your title to validate the appropriate title transfer process.

Some states do not require customers to transfer the title to the new state to register the vehicle.
