Why does my Wi-Fi Hotspot say WPA-WPA not secured?

We are aware that some Members with iOS 14 are receiving the following error message when connecting to their vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot:

WPA-WPA not secured / WPA2 (TKIP) is not considered secure. If this is your Wi-Fi network, configure WPA2 (AES) or WPA3 Security type.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps.

1. From your iPhone, open the Settings app.
2. Tap on Wi-Fi.
3. Tap the information button next to the vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot network.
4. Tap to turn on Private Address.
