On the SYNC updates page, why don't I see any updates to download?
You can check the status of your vehicle to help ensure the latest technology is at your fingertips. If you go to your Owner Account, and the SYNC® Software Updates page isn’t displaying any notifications, your version of MyFord Touch™ is most likely up to date.
If you suspect that your SYNC software may be out of date, you can run a Vehicle Health Report to determine the version currently installed in your vehicle.27
Running a Vehicle Health Report records the current version of your SYNC software. (Show me how to run a Vehicle Health Report.)
After running the report, you will receive an email notifying you that your Vehicle Health Report is ready.
Check your Owner Account. If there are no updates to download, your SYNC version is up to date.
Your dealer can also help you figure out your SYNC version. There may be a charge for this service, so check with your dealer first. (Help me locate a dealer.)
