Why am I unable to download the FordPass®* App?

If you are unable to download FordPass to your device, a few common reasons for this could be due to:

  1. Your device does not have enough storage space for the update/download. Please delete unused apps and try again. 
  2. You may be experiencing network/internet connection issues. Check your cellular strength and or Wi-Fi connection.
    1. Wi-Fi connection 
      • If Wi-Fi is turned off, turn Wi-Fi on and attempt to connect.
      • If Wi-Fi is turned on, turn Wi-Fi off and attempt to connect using cellular data.
    2. Cellular connection 
      • If cellular data is turned off, turn cellular data on and attempt to connect.
      • If cellular data is turned on, turn cellular data off and attempt to connect using Wi-Fi.
  3. Your device may need a power cycle.
    1. Power off your device for 30 - 60 seconds. 
    2. Turn on your device.
    3. Attempt to download FordPass.
