How do I use the Zone Lighting feature in the FordPass®* App?
To use the Zone Lighting feature in FordPass you must meet the following requirements:
- Have a compatible 2021 and later F-150** vehicle.
- Add your vehicle to FordPass.
- Activate your FordPass® Connect*** modem.
- Ensure that your zone lights are not in use by any features.
- Remain in park mode.
- Have a good battery level.
- Enable your vehicle's Connectivity Settings and ensure a stable connection.
To use the Zone Lighting Feature in the FordPass App:
- Log in to the FordPass App.
- Navigate to the Vehicle landing page.
- Tap the Features & Settings header.
- Select the Zone Lighting tile.
- Tap the Power button to enable the feature. If the Power button is grayed out, it is not enabled.
- Select the zone you want to enable.
- Blue - means the lights are on.
- Dark Gray - means the feature is enabled and the lights are off.
- Transparent Gray - means the feature is not enabled.
Note: Tap All Zones to enable all zone areas.
- Select the Power button to turn off the lights and feature once you are done.
Note: There can be a 2 or 4 Zone option. This is determined by the trim level of the vehicle and can only be known when you access the Zone Lighting screen.
- 2 Zone option - contains Front and Rear zones
- 4 Zone option - contains Front, Rear, Left, and Right zones
To use the Zone Lighting Feature in Your Vehicle:
- Ensure that your vehicle is on, running, and in park.
- Tap Home on your vehicle screen.
- Select Features.
- Tap Zone Lighting.
- Press the Power button.
- Select the zone or zones you want to enable.
Note: Tap All Zones to enable all zone areas.
- Select the Power button again to turn off the lights and feature once you are done.
