Does my Ford vehicle have a modem?

Determining if Your Vehicle has a Modem

Check your vehicle's window sticker for "FordPass Connect" or "SYNC Connect."

Check your in-vehicle SYNC screen:

Safely enter your vehicle.
Ensure that your vehicle is on, in an open, well-ventilated, and safe area.
Choose Settings.
Select Vehicle.

Note: If your modem is activated, the FordPass Connect tile will appear under the Settings menu.

Use the table below to determine if your vehicle was eligible for a modem when built.

A vehicle modem is available on all 2020 and later model year vehicles.

Note: Aftermarket installations may not function properly with the Ford app.

A vehicle modem is not available for these model years.
