Auto Start-Stop is active every time you start your vehicle, unless you turn off the Auto Start button, located on either the center console or dashboard (depending on your vehicle model).

Here’s how the Auto Start-Stop system works:

1. When you put your foot on the brake and come to a complete stop, the engine shuts off.
2. When you take your foot off the brake pedal, the engine will restart automatically — without any delay.
