How do I view Vehicle Health Alerts with FordPass®*?
To access the FordPass Vehicle Health Alerts (VHA) feature:
- All devices must have mobile data turned on.
- You must have a vehicle added to FordPass.
- Your vehicle must be properly equipped with the SYNC/FordPass Connect®** modem.
VHA can help you keep your vehicle(s) in optimal shape. The data is gathered directly from your vehicle and these alerts provide an up-to-date view of your vehicle’s health. These alerts can also give you a better understanding of what a warning light means, the indicator severity, what could be causing the problem, and steps that can be taken to resolve it.
Use the steps below to view the VHA for your vehicle.
- Log in to the FordPass App.
- Tap the Vehicle tab at the bottom of the home screen.
- Select the Vehicle Status Alerts button.
- Scroll down and tap Vehicle Support.
- Select Alert Guides to view a list of indicator meanings.
- Select My Vehicles Health Setup for VHA connection setup.
- Follow the screen instructions for proper setup.
Note: The color indicators are:
- Red - identifies a recall.
- Yellow - identifies Field Service Action (FSA) or VHA.
- Green - indicates no recalls, FSAs, or VHAs present.
